Founded by Ralph Morton, a nationally recognized executive with over three decades of experience in shaping the sports and entertainment landscape across Washington, DC, Seattle, and New Orleans. Ralph's extensive national and international network, built throughout his distinguished career, forms the backbone of Morton Partners' unique advantage. He brings a rare combination of strategic business acumen, operational execution, and relationship-building expertise, with a passion for using sport as a force for civic unity, youth inspiration, economic vitality, and measurable community impact.

He most recently served as the Senior Vice President and Managing Director of the Sports & Entertainment Division at Events DC, where he led high-performing sales teams responsible for venue sales, corporate partnerships, and revenue generation across all Events DC campuses. His work included managing a $9 million budget, overseeing strategic planning, executing special events, and building high-impact relationships with sports franchises and community stakeholders.

Previously, Ralph served as Executive Director of the Seattle Sports Commission, where he built the organization from the ground up into a respected regional advocacy and hosting powerhouse. Under his leadership, the Commission secured the 2026 FIFA World Cup for Seattle and expanded its board from seven members to over 130 civic, corporate, and philanthropic leaders. He also launched and sustained a range of high-profile events including global yacht races, NCAA Championships, annual golf tournaments, and the Washington State Games—strengthening the region’s identity as a destination for premier sports and entertainment.

Earlier in his career, Ralph was Vice President of Events in New Orleans, where he managed operations for nationally televised events such as Super Bowls, Final Fours, and the New Orleans Bowl. He also produced signature events including the Grand Prix du Mardi Gras, where racecars sped through the streets of downtown New Orleans at over 150 miles per hour. His portfolio spans decades of experience delivering bold, culturally significant, and economically impactful events in diverse markets across the United States.

Ralph is also a dedicated community leader, having served on numerous nonprofit boards and chaired the National Association of Sports Commissions. He is a consistent advocate for youth, public safety, and health initiatives, supporting organizations such as Children’s Hospitals, the Special Olympics, and the Seattle Police Foundation. Ralph earned his Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Sports Sciences from the University of Florida. His career reflects an enduring belief in the power of sports to unite communities and drive lasting social impact.
